 In the 1960s, the various preparations manufactured by the human pharmacy laboratories of the time did not allow all animal diseases to be treated. In 1968, while these large groups were looking to invest in animal health, Pierre-Richard Dick, veterinarian in Nice, relied on his training at the Pasteur Institute to imagine and develop new drugs. He then founded Virbac with the desire to provide veterinarians, breeders and owners around the world with a set of innovative solutions to deal with animal pathologies.Present today in more than 100 countries, we have managed to preserve our independence and our DNA.
